Dr. Willem Ombelet, distinguished specialist in reproductive Medicine from Genk, Belgium, spoke to physicians, students and researchers at the Jones Institute on March 1, 2011. He presented a European and International view on “Infertility and Childlessness: Future Healthcare Policies.”

Dr. Ombelet is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Jans Hospital, Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Limburg and Coordinator of the ESHRE Special Task Force on “Developing Countries and Infertility.” He is internationally recognized for his experience in the medical and scientific aspects of the field as well as the social and economic impacts of the practice.
